Negative result…. What next?

तुम्ही जेव्हा infertility साठी कुठल्याही प्रकारे treatment करत असता, तेव्हा साहजिकच त्याच्या निकाला बद्दल तुम्हाला खुप उत्सुकता असते! डॉक्टरानी सांगितलेली सर्व औषधे तुम्ही मनापासून घेत असता. सर्व प्रकारची पथ्ये पाळत असता. Will it happen or will it not असं करत फुलाच्या पाकळ्या तोड़णं फक्त बाकी असतं! आणि जरका तो result /निकाल negative आला, तर मग खुपच निराश वाटायला लागतं!

देवाने माणसाला बनवतानाच आपलं setting असं ठेवलं आहे की आपल्या embryo चा implantation rate हा 30% पेक्षा वर नाही येऊ शकत.
सोप्या भाषे त सांगायाच तर आपल्या एका embryo  (Day 3)चा implant होण्याचा किंवा चिकटण्याचा chance फक्त 30% एवढाच असतो . आपले सारे embryo चिकटत नाहीत. मग ते नैसर्गिकरित्या बनलेले असो अथवा IVF ने!

असं करताना ‘त्या’ चा नक्की काय विचार होता कोणास ठाउक! कदाचित माणसाची लोकसंख्या नियंत्रणात राहावी म्हणून असेल अथवा आणि काही कारण असेल.  Fact remains the same!
या सर्व गोष्टी लक्षात घेऊन तुमचे डॉक्टर तुम्हाला तुमच्या treatment चा success rate सांगतात. जर एखाद्या परिक्षेत paas होण्याचा chance सुरुवाती पासूनच 100% नसेल तर fail झाल्याचं एवढं दुःख वाटू नये. यासाठी treatment च्या आधी केले जाणारे महत्वाचे आहे. कुठलीही treatment चालू करायच्या आधीच पूर्ण माहिती घ्या, success rate जाणून घ्या!
Negative result आला तर अर्थातच वाईट वाटणार, पण  एवढीही निराशा येऊ नये की तुम्हाला स्वतःला सावरता येणार नाही .कारण एका प्रकारच्या treatment मध्ये अपयश आलं तरी दुसऱ्या प्रकारे  प्रयत्न करता येतो.
पहिल्या वेळेस अपयश आलं तरी दुसऱ्या किंवा तिसऱ्या attempt मध्ये यश मिळालेली कित्येक उदाहरणे सापडतात. फक्त आपली उमेद हरायची नाही! मनाला सांगायचं…… Treatment अभी बाकी है मेरे दोस्त! 

Whenever you are undergoing any infertility treatment you are. very excited about the final outcome. You sincerely follow all the instructions by doctor, you take all the medicines as advised and without missing any dose. You are kind of plucking flower petals throughout-will it happen or will it not? After all this, if the final result is negative naturally you get disappointed.

When God created us, he made sure that every human embryo will not implant. Probably He did so to keep human population in control, or may be for some other reason which is unknown to us. Whatever may be the reason, the fact remains same! Every human embryo can not implant. Each embryo [Day 3] has only 30% chance of implantation[ sticking uterine layer].

Considering all these things your doctor explains you chances of success with the treatment you are undergoing. Pre treatment counselling is very important for this purpose. Consider , you are appearing for an exam knowing fully that you don’t have 100% chance of success. It is natural to feel bad after a negative result, but this sadness should not engulf you completely. As there are always other options of treatment. There are so many examples where couples were not successful in first attempt but succeeded in subsequent attempts.

You just need to tell yourself–Treatment is not yet over!
